Pratyush Gupta
Assistant Professor, Product Design
Department of Design
"Design is one of the few disciplines that is a science as well as an art." — Debbie Millman.
An apt quote to start his academic and educational journey. Formally educated in the field of pure science and then moving towards completing his graduation in sculpture, Pratyush has been teaching design for almost a decade.
He sees design education as a fabric, with art and science forming its cross-sectional strands — an eclectic conglomeration of creativity reinforced with pragmatism and structure.
